Aims: The educational role of the museum is to tell the story of 4000 years of written communication to as wide an audience as possible. We pay special attention to making learning exciting and fun for children. Throughout the year we put on competitions and workshops, from quill writing to bookmaking and more, which are open to everyone. There is always a museum quiz available and all completed quiz sheets are considered for our monthly prize draw where a lucky individual will receive a gift from our shop.
