Aims: COMPASS aims to prevent young people getting involved in offending behaviour that might cause harm to others or get them involved with the police. A COMPASS worker will try and help a young person to change their behaviour by identifying and supporting them with difficulties they might have in their life - such as difficulties at school, at home or with friends.
COMPASS is completely voluntary for 8-13 year olds. The young person and their parents/carers must want to work with COMPASS.
