Aims: The E2E Programme is a Learning and Development Programme for 16-19 year olds. This programme aims to help young people through the transition period between school and further education, apprenticeship or employment.
During the programme learners are given the opportunity to achieve nationally recognised qualifications including: Foundation Training Certificate, First Aid, IT, Basic Food & Hygiene and Adult Literacy & Numeracy.
This course is mainly taught through tutorial groups and covers subjects such as; Life Skills eg budgeting, citizenship; Key Skills eg literacy and numeracy; Job Search eg CV preparation, interview skills, application letter writing.
A work placement is a mandatory requirement and key element of the E2E programme and local employers are encouraged to offer a placement .
