Costs: It is free to join, borrow books & use the PCs for internet, e.mail, wordprocessing etc. There is a charge for printouts from the PCs and also hire charges for DVDs, videos and computer games. There is a hire charge for music for anyone aged 15 or over.

Aims: All libraries have a broad range of fiction and non fiction books for all ages. They all provide a lending, requests and reservations service. They also have a variety of activities (such as children's story time) newspapers, audio and visual materials such as cd's and dvd's. They have a range of electronic resources such as photocopying and computers. While all libraries generally provide such activities and facilities it is worth checking to see what your local one offers. Our library also has storytime for the under 5's on a Friday at 2.15pmduring term time. Please check for up-to-date information.
