Aims: The Children and Families team intervenes in families with problems. We offer assistance for those families in need- especially where there is a risk of family breakdown. We try to avoid a child going into care,promote better family relationships, if there is a risk of family breakdown, assist children to recieve long term "good enough" parenting or care,intervene, in partnership with other agencies , to reduce risk if a child's name has been placed on the Child Protection Register. We seek to protect children from harm, whilst providing them with the safetest and happiest environment possible.
