Contact person: Nikki McAuslan

Type of organisation: Charity/Community

Type of delivery point: Counselling Service

Aims: Butterfly offers creative therapy and counselling to children, young people and their families. We have a well equipped consulting room, with lots of play and art materials, and also have the facility to travel and see children at school, in social services or other settings, as well as in their own home. Butterfly Wings is the branch of Butterfly that works solely with children and young people from asylum seeker and refugee families.

In addition to this we also offer many special services to schools in order to promote the psychological, emotional, behavioural and social well-being of all children and young people.

We also have extensive experience in providing training and workshops for people working with children and young people.

Availability: Appointment
The easiest way to use our service is to contact Nikki. If you are calling on behalf of yourself or your child, you may wish to give an outline of the difficulties that are being experienced. Alternatively, you might prefer to wait until your appointment. We understand it can often be difficult to make that initial call, but please be assured that we will not judge you, your choices or experiences or those of your child or family. We are here to help! If you are an agency enquiring about what butterfly can offer your service users, we suggest that you contact Nikki to make an appointment where we can give some some more information about butterfly, the services that we offer and answer any questions that you may have.
