Aims: Family Group Conferences (FGC) are a way of supporting families to come together to work out how they are going to try to deal with a problem faced by a child or young person in the family.

Bristol FGC provide an independent Co-ordinator to set up the meeting and an Advocate to make sure the child or young person's views are heard.

Bristol FGC currently only run FGC's for Bristol City Council to prevent children going into care and to help families where a family member has an ASBO.
