Hengrove and Whitchurch Children’s Centre provides an integrated range of services for children and their families, including childcare for under 5’s, both at our base at Ilminster Avenue Specialist Children’s centre and at our linked setting; Mama Bears Nursery (email hengrove@mamabear.co.uk.) on the Wells Road. We also provide a wide range of family support activities in various venues across the Hengrove area. Current groups include, gym tots, family learning, story telling, bumps and babes and play and stay. We also have an early education programme called PEEPS for children & carers/parents from birth to school.
Hengrove and Whitchurch Children’s Centre’s activities are run by the outreach team also coving the Ilminster Avenue Specialist Children’s Centre. It was designated as a Children’s Centre as part of Bristol City Council’s third phase of Children’s Centres in the city in March 2010 and has its Hengrove base at Perry Court Infants and Junior School and Whitchurch health centre. If you would like to attend any of the groups listed on the table below, please call us to find out if spaces are still available.

Saturdays; Dads group 10-11.30 the first Saturday of each month.
