About Us

WiredSafety is dedicated to helping protect children in cyberspace. It does this by a combination of educational programs, awareness and prevention and one-to-one help delivered to its core audiences of parents, grandparents and caregivers, schools and community groups, law enforcement and school resource officers, as well as the children, tweens and teens themselves.

By working in cooperation with law enforcement agencies worldwide in reporting and investigating cybercrimes against children and Internet sexual exploitation, WiredSafety is able to use the unique Internet security expertise of its specially-trained volunteers to help attack the root of the program – the criminals who prey on children.
By educating parents, caregivers and schools on how to supervise children's use of interactive technologies and manage technology risks, WiredSafety is able to identify problems early and help guide families in safer and more responsible technology use.
By providing children themselves with expertise in safe, secure and responsible interactive technology use, WiredSafety helps empowering them to use the "filter between their ears" and control the technology, instead of being controlled by it.
