More About The Organisation
South Bristol Sports Centre is a charity and as such, is run for the promoting of sport facilities within the local community. It is a not-for-profit organization which will re-invest any surplus to support it's core objectives.
One of the main aims is to create a sports centre to offer school children and people living in the local community the chance to participate in a variety of sports. With a lack of sports facilities available for local schools, the project will encourage increased usage. Delivered through a partnership between the City Council and a not-for-profit led consortium led by the City Academy Bristol and Clifton College Services Ltd. Funding for the project comes from a mixture of council, consortium and Barclays Spaces for Sport fund.
