The Bristol School of Dancing is the oldest established dance school in the city. Situated in the heart of
Clifton and just a stones throw away from the famous Bristol landmark, the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
It was founded in 1947 by Mary Hoskyn and Muriel Carpenter and occupied numbers 55-57 Pembroke
The Bristol School of Dancing enjoys the proud boast of
being the West Country's largest, most successful, and
longest established Dance Academy.
The school is in the privileged position to have been
asked to provide and train children for professional
productions at The Bristol Hippodrome for over 50 years.
