More About The Organisation
Allies in Bristol is an Independent Visitor Service. An independent visitor (or ally as they are known as) is a volunteer befriender to a child/young person who is in care. Our service is for children and young people who are in the care of Bristol City Council. A referral needs to be made by, or have the support of, the young person's social worker. An ally and young person meet regularly to share activities and form a long-term friendship.
