More About The Organisation
Special Friends Club is a charity operating throughout the City of Bristol and South Gloucestershire area and run by parent volunteers. The charity provides support for families of children with special needs by organising a range of activities and social opportunities that can be shared and enjoyed by the whole family.
The club has a membership of 60 families with over 100 children whose ages range from 3-18 years. The children have a broad range of needs and disabilities, from severe learning and physical disabilities to sensory or speech and language impairment, Autism, Downs Syndrome and Attention Deficit Disorder.
