Brislington Neighbourhood Centre runs several activities:
After School Club for parents who have
difficulties with childcare and problems collecting children from school. The club has been successfully running for over 10 years and aims to provide a secure environment in which children will be happy.
Operates Mon-Fri 15:30-18:00
term time only, can collect children from Broomhill Infants and Junior schools and take them back to the club, where they are supervised and can play until parents are ready to collect them. (Club closes at 18:00). Older children may wish to make their own way to the club.
Provides a snack and a drink on arrival to keep them from going hungry.
Brislington Older Peoples Lunch Club is held from 11:00-14:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and provides a 3 course meal for older people who wish to meet and socialise with others. Currently have vacancies on all days. Transport is provided for people living in Broom Hill and St Annes.
Holiday Playscheme has trained and experienced playworkers in a small and friendly scheme.
Caters for children aged 4.5 years-11 years throughout the school holidays (excluding whole of Christmas holidays).
Are there any costs to the user for your service?
After School Club: £6.00 per session for 1 child. Percentage increase per sibling.
Older Peoples Lunch Club
£4.50 per session which includes the meal and transport if needed. In addition there is an annual registration of £5 per day attended.
