Frenchay Cricket Club offers Boys and Girls from 6/7yrs the chance to enjoy cricket in a safe and friendly environment. All Coaches are ECB qualified with CRB clearance. We run Boys sides from under 9 up to under 17, and have an expanding Girls section with Teams at U9, U11, U13 and into U15 for Season 2011. We enter Leagues and Tournaments to help the young players develop their cricketing skills and enjoyment, with plenty of opportunity to play in the Senior sides.

How do people access your service?
Do you have a waiting list?
We do not have waiting lists as such. We will try to accomodate all who wish to play cricket, and have expanded the number of teams that are run at various age groups to cater for the number of young players who wish to play.
Are there any costs to the user for your service?
The Annual subscription for a Youth Player of any age is £25, which covers all coaching and any youth matches. Cricket Equipment is provided, althougth players who take up the sport usually prefer to have their own kit in time. Frenchay Cricket Club clothing can be purchased through an order, with details on the website and in the Clubhouse/through an age group Manager, but we suggest young players do not take this option until they are sure they want to play, and FCC kit is not compulsory.
There is no charge for someone who wishes to come along and try the sport.
