The Centre offers a confidential service for anyone affected by cancer. It is a drop in service and provides information on all aspects of cancer and treatments. They also provide support for anyone who wants to just sit and talk through their concerns.
The Patient Advice and Liaison Convener is based in the centre.
PALS helps patients, carers and families to talk through any concerns they may have around care, communication, environment in the BHOC within the BHOC.
Look Good Feel Good Sessions -
A service that offers advice on skin care and a makeover session together with a free gift to women who are undergoing treatment.
British Red Cross volunteers provide a gentle relaxing massage and nail care for both patients and carers.
There is also a group of volunteers called Headstart who are at the Centre once a week and who can provide demonstrations and a wealth of advice on how to tie scarves for people who have experienced hair loss.
