More About The Organisation
South Glos Parents and Carers is a support community that has children (0-25) with additional needs or a disability. We want to improve the services and the support that is available to our families so that our children can reach the outcomes that they aspire to.
We all have children with a disability or additional needs ourselves, ranging from physical, social communication, sensory, learning or behavioural difficulties and anxiety to complex health needs and we are passionate about trying to help other families on their journey.
We run the parent carer participation service and collect views of parents across Education , Health and Social Care.
We run Peer to Peer Support Groups across the area . Parents can just drop in .
We provide e bulletins and a twice a year magazine.
We are looking into extending our services by running parenting programmes for families with SEND in the future.
