About Us

The Dings Community Together Day was set up to bring different families, cultures and young people together to enjoy the last day of summer before school/college begins. We had a range of activities available which included Henna Tattoos, Dodgeball, Football, Cricket and Slack Lines. The young people of the Dings ran a free BBQ, and laid on face painting for little children and nail art for the young women. It was a feel-good atmosphere within the community on the day. We attracted over 50 young people and a number of families from different cultures and backgrounds. The event was such a success that we are currently discussing making the Dings Community Day an annual event in partnership with the Dings Association
