About Us

The EDF and British Gas Energy Trust is a registered charity that awards grants to reduce or clear electricity and or gas debts. Since the start of the project in Feb 2005, BDAC has a 97% success rate in securing Energy awards and has cleared over £70,000 worth of energy debt for Bristol residents. This trust can provide support if you are a supplied by EDF Energy (formally: SWEB Energy, London Energy, and Seeboard Energyand British Gas). The trust has a fund of £2 million available to people across the UK who need help to pay their energy bills.
