More About The Organisation
This is a new project supporting isolated or disabled women who live in North Bristol. The volunteer team can visit women in their own homes and signpost to appropriate organisations and services.
It is hoped that the project will support over 180 women within the North Bristol area.
Our aim is to support isolated or disabled women who live in North Bristol, with information and guidance on how to remain well and maintain independence at home.
For more information about the project and how to make a referral, please visit the website.
Home page Volunteers are sometimes needed for this project. If interested, please call Lizzie on 0117 9515751 for a chat.
Our team of trustworthy and friendly volunteers can visit you in your own home and spend time listening to your needs. We can then draw upon our comprehensive database and network of contacts to provide you with information on housing adaptations, social activities, transport, health and a whole lot more. We have close links to community services and have the time to look into what you really need to help you to stay independent.
All our volunteers have a Criminal Records Bureau check and have completed a full induction course.
This service is free to any older woman living in North Bristol. You do not have to have a social worker or go through your GP to access this service. Just call Lizzie on 0117 9515751 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
