More About The Organisation
Barton Hill Settlement is a dynamic multi-cultural community resource centre in Barton Hill. We have worked in the densely populated, high rise, inner-city area of East Bristol since 1911, delivering projects to people who often have complex requirements. Our main aim is to reduce isolation, including its causes. Our three core projects are a Family Centre, a Community Development Project and a Drug and Alcohol service. We have a Board of Trustees of local residents, 24 paid staff and over 100 volunteers. We act as landlord to 10 community organisations. Our services are used by around 2,000 people per week.
